National Sales Meeting
We got connected to Lowe’s.
During 6 general sessions spanning 3 days, 2750 senior managers from Lowe’s, heard from 18 presenters who brought to life Lowe’s new core values, while focusing on helping people love where they live.
The proceedings kicked off with a Stomp-like performance featuring a mix of professionals and local Vegas Lowe’s employees who made music on parts of a bathroom that were then revealed as a finished project. You never would have believed a sink and toilet could make such beautiful music!
The opening performance continued, featuring video footage of dozens of employees from around the country banging out a beat signifying that no matter what group we represent, we are all one Connected Lowe’s with the same mission. It was like Lowe’s very own rhythm nation.
A collection of videos throughout the sessions helped bring the values to life by featuring employee interviews about what makes them do what they do.
The activities culminated in the Manager of the Year awards. Our general session room was transformed into a glistening night where the best of the best were honored. It started with a “Blue Carpet Experience” where nominees were interviewed and broadcast on the big screens, and attendees got to mix, mingle and take selfies that were posted in real time in the main room. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler got nothin’ on us!
Four camera crews zigged and zagged throughout the room capturing the moment each nominee was called. When the winner was announced, our four overhead LED screens came to life with golden video confetti shooting from the stage screens. Making clean up a breeze.
As the night went on, the attendees were treated to an intimate acoustic set by Darius Rucker who performed a mix of some of his hits mixed with some Hootie favorites.
We are already looking forward to next year’s event where we will never stop improving with Lowe’s.
Review: "Thank you! You knocked it out of the park! Everyone at Lowe’s is very pleased with this year’s event. In fact, our CEO emailed us and said, “Hands down, the best meeting ever.” He went on to share his overall positive thoughts and appreciation for a truly great event. We heard the same thing from numerous store managers and other attendees. Again, well done, and thank you."
